Giovanni joined the Knowledge Transfer Group, Medical Applications Section, in 2016.
Before that, he worked for more than two years at CERN with the TERA Foundation, an Italian research institution. He focused mostly on linac design for hadrontherapy and radioisotopes production for the construction of a hospital in Italy.
But his first passion was nuclear energy: before CERN, Giovanni worked for one year in Cadarache, France, on Generation IV Fast Nuclear Reactors design and development.
In the meantime, he co-founded Bizanami, a web-based service for helping aspiring entrepreneurs starting their own businesses, and he is part of the Global Shapers Community, in Geneva and in Turin.
Giovanni is a Nuclear Engineer who graduated at Polytechnic Universities of Turin and Milan, and Alta Scuola Politecnica. He also studied in Sweden, in the Netherlands and in the UK, strengthening his passion and commitment toward Europe and its people.
